St. Augustine area find- Help ID

Can anyone help identify this coin? My son got permission to search a construction site near our home and came up with this. I know it's Spanish. I can't see a date and we cleaned it up the best we could. He was out for all of 5 minutes then it down-poured and ended his search. He'll be heading back this week for sure. Thanks for you help!

    Depending on size and weight, probably a Ferdinand VII real, date is below portrait. Might be 1811. Nice. Peace Roy

    Let's talk about "cleaning" for a mo. Soak in distilled water is okay, soak in mineral oil is okay, dip in acetone is okay, NO rubbing!!! Patting with a qtip. Reading about acceptable ways to remove debris is part of the hobby. Peace Roy

    No rubbing is great advice. It’s so tempting to know what you have as soon as you get it out of the ground

    Please use mineral oil and other cleaning materials to get rid of the debris. That's when we can see it well and be able to recognise it. Check here for vest mineral oil to use ==> https://www.pheasantenergy.com/
