1932-S/S Double Struck Washington Quarter

Hello - I recently bought a 1932-S over S double struck mint mark Washington quarter. I cannot find anything online or in the price guides referring to a 1932-S/S. Does anyone know or have an idea have you seen one of these before? I was highly curious.

    Hey Hector.
    Please take a look at that close up pic you posted. The way you can't see anything we can't either.
    We would need a clear pic to be able to tell you anything reliable as opposed to just a guess.

    This one is pretty solid double struck S mint mark. I just cannot find anything about the S/S version of this already very rare coin. Attached are some other close ups

    It would be an RPM (repunched Mint mark) but no one can tell if it is or it ain't without a MUCH better image.

    It looks like from the OP images that something has happened to the surfaces.

    The coin looks to have damage to the mint mark, not a RPM.
    The stronger or secondary S....the one on top.... is not complete. It appears to have had some physical damage that resulted in moved metal showing as "the other mark"

    While a different RPM, here is an example of an S mint RPM on a 41 Lincoln as a comp.
    The primary or stronger mint mark should show in it's entirety.

    Howdy and welcome.

    Here are a few points for you to consider. First, the coin is not double struck. Also, higher magnification isn't always the answer and in this case we simply need images that are in focus. Lastly, the 1932-S WQ often has a bad looking mintmark and I have never heard of folks willing to pay a premium for one with any anomaly. Regardless, it is a cool coin to own.

    The coin is already a Key in the series. Generally from what I understand, the coin itself is already rare. An RPM will not substantially increase the worth of an already scarce and costly date and mint.

    It is probably "machine doubling" (also sometimes called "ejection doubling").
    That is quite common on 1932-S and 1932-D quarters.
    It doesn't add any value to the coin.
    However, it is one possible indicator of a genuine S or D coin and not a falsely added mint mark.

    It was sold to me as an S/S, but added $10 more to what it cost otherwise. Nice coin, I'll take it. Any idea on possible grade for this coin? I tried to sharpen the photos.
