No choice, but to save money...

Hi guy's, If you know me by now, I'm like many here on the forum that roll searches. I mostly seek for the Cents, nickels and sometimes Dimes. In saying that, Even though banks have been keeping their doors closed. I for one, found a way to still receive rolls from the bank. They been handing out rolls only by using the window closest to the building. Here's the problem. I've been roll searching ever since the shutdown. Accumulating a vast amount of change! I mean, biggest amount of change in years. The banks will not let me in, as understandable, to cash in all my change! In the meantime, I'm saving money. My mother would be very proud of me. LoL. Although,the other flip side of the coin is, it's very inconvenient in trying to balance my savings while I continue to take cash out of the bank and can't replace the change back into my account. Sure, many of you are probably thinking, "Why don't he just go cash in at some Coin Star?" LoL. Believe me, I did think of this but I refuse to pay any premium to cash in any of MY MONEY. Oh well, like I said, at least I'm saving money and I'll continue to just wait like the rest of us. Don't forget to wash your hands afterwards.

About a month and and more ago, I was roll searching quarters from my bank to fill up an uncirculated ATB album. I’ve stopped for now, I’ll pick it back up again later. Probably 20 more holes to fill. Don’t really want to waste the Lysol spray

Does Coinstar still offer Amazon credit for no fee? That was what I opted for the last time I used it. Of course, that's not of much use if you do not use Amazon regularly.

My bank will let me hand them back a few rolls thru the main window . I have a couple of customers that Like to pay in rolled change. Right after the bank closed the inside, I had a customer pay with 11 rolls of quarters, they were nice enough to let me put them thru the first window then.

I'm stacking up too. Before the shut down I was taking the coins to my credit union (separate savings acct.) because their machine is much faster and once I'm done I have them deposit into that account. I'm robbing peter to pay paul but money only goes inward into that account.

I use Coinstar to convert my coins to no-fee Starbucks gift cards. Damn machine still rejects my Canadian widgets.

Depending on the Coinstar kiosk, Amazon gift card is a no service fee option. You got to navigate to a particular splash screen. Peace Roy

Coinstar lets you redeem for gift cards, no fees. Many to choose from, not just chinazon.

The coinstar machines have not been active lately....not sure why....seems people would be dumping their change accumulations....maybe they already did I am waiting for a silver W quarter in the coinstar... Cheers, RickO

It's getting to be so boring around here that I'm almost tempted to recheck all my previously checked change!
