This is a tough date with color.

It's got some nice color, but I would never advertise it as "rainbow"....

I'd put it at a 64. Strike isn't great, but it's an O, so that's no surprise. Overall pretty clean, but I'd want a bit more lustre for a 65.

Nice coin. The toning looks attractive to me. I also thought 64 with typical O mint strike.

Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

A tough date for that color indeed. I'd say 64 as well although with toning like that the grade is almost irrelevant.

    Nice coin!

Thank you gentlemen. It is graded 65. And yes, I do agree it should be a 64, 64+ to be specific, and likely got a bump for the eye appeal.

And perhaps rainbow was a bit of a stretch but it has the start of some rainbow!

I thought 64 when I opened the thread.... not a fan of the tarnish (of course ;) ).... Cheers, RickO

I thought my coin was a 1902-O but it's a 1901-O with color that I don't see often, and I rarely buy Morgans.

Boy was I off. That toning really skewed how I looked at it.

That is quite nice for an '01 of any mint. All those later date years are tougher with nice color!
