Man it's been a while !

It has been too long since I purchased a coin.
I used to have all of my coins/medals at home.
Since moving a year ago they have been in a safe deposit box. I know many people use this method but it just isn't working for me.
I want my treasures here where I can see them when I want. I really miss having them close at hand.
I am working on that situation right now!
I got to thinking about them recently and knew it was time to do something.
I have been working on a 7070 set for several years. Yeah, I'm picky.
I still need a few coins and after browsing for a while I ran across this coin.
It is one I needed and has the look I want.
I am just as happy with this as I would be with a thousand dollar coin!! Feels good to purchase something again.
Just had to show her off.

That’s a great looking coin. Most of my collection is in a SDB. It sucks not being able to look at your coins but at least for me it’s the best available option.
Well done!

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Nice buy for the 7070! Similarly, I haven't purchased anything in awhile. Too many other hobbies, references in storage, etc. Hope to change that soon.
In many ways that one is nicer than a thousand dollar coin! Love it!

Looking good.
Congrats in getting a fix! Solid looking coin.
I keep most of the collection in an SDB, but have decent images of everything so I can enjoy it that way.

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line. That's a nice coin you have there. I solved the SDB problem by rotating stuff out of the box and home. I try to have only 10% or so home at any one time. It would be nice to have it all home, but it's my own fault for having so many coins!
Enjoy yours collecting!

I sort of do the same thing though I sold 1/3 of my collection in Dec.

Very nice look to that coin. Thanks for sharing.
Great looking coin!
I also went thru the SDB problem. I had way too much into coins and was no longer comfortable keeping that much at home, therefore got a SDB. I then realized all the enjoyment I got out of coins was looking at them and/or sharing them with others (here, etc...), so I sold off my entire collection except for a few. Now I have very little, have started back, and will problem have the same problem in another 5 years. Wash. Rinse. Repeat?

Actually holding and viewing our coins is the essence of the hobby. I will never go the SDB route...my personal choice - others will choose differently. I have not purchased much lately, but have my eye on a coin or two in the near future. @Flatwoods ...Welcome back the hustle and bustle of coins...
Cheers, RickO
Nice coin. Acquiring an inexpensive coin brings just as much pleasure as buying an expensive coin for me. In a way the inexpensive coins are more fun. The expensive ones go into storage, not to emerge for years. The fun coins can sit on my desk where I fiddle with them. Some of those do disappear however. A few I have found in my kid's Dansco albums.
