That bezel looks like it has a disk covering the reverse with the bank's name on it. I'm the type just dying to know if it's a P,O or S mintmark. Bet the reverse is uncirculated.

Nice piece! I see some doubling at the tops of the 1 and 7 of the date as well as some extra metal near these numbers. It turns out that the 1887-O VAM 2 has some of these features. Just a WAG....
Nice piece.... But for myself, I would have to remove it from the bezel so I could see the reverse...Never could tolerate an unopened box, package or hidden side of a coin (i.e. belt buckle silver dollars). Cheers, RickO
