Good Luck

More than 100 years ago, George decided to travel to Monte Carlo:To try his chance at the Casino ? To assist at an outboard race ? From somewhere in the United States he traveled by train to New York, Ocean Steamer to Le Havre, steam train to Paris (a couple of days stay ?) and another train to Southern France. His Friends got engraved a 1904 Morgan Dollar t wish him good luck. Was he lucky? Nobody knows, but the Dollar still is in France.

since the coin is in France I doubt he was very lucky at the tables
Maybe he got lucky in Paree instead?
One time I drove into Vegas in a $70k Ferrari and left in a $190k bus.
It would seem he lost to the point of cashing in his memento. I always stick to Blackjack, and rarely lose....and if I lose, it is not major. I played poker a lot, but not in casinos...local games...Have won a lot at poker. Nobody plays poker around here anymore... used to have some good games many years ago. In Blackjack, understand the odds, read the deck.... In poker, play the players, cards are important, but reading the people is more important. Cheers, RickO
