record time selling 100 oz silver bar

So I have been getting calls for days looking for silver. Literally none has come in. It used to be 100 oz bars were impossible to get rid of.(at least for me) Today, I leave the shop head for mc donalds to get a burger, guy calls looking for silver , don't have any. then a guy calls asks what I am paying for 100 oz, give quote, be right over, I call the guy back who just called, I said 100 oz on way, but need spot plus 1.25, no problem he said. I walk in the door too sit down and eat my burger, guy walks in with bar, pay him in cash, as he is walking out, guy comes in to buy it. never had this happen before. crazy times.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
No actually a big mac
Safe to call that a "McDeal".
Six and 3/4 pounder plus cheese.
Sounds like a Happy Meal to me.

……...a guy walks in to a coin shop carrying a 100 ounce silver bar with a small monkey perched on his shoulder and a three legged dog on a leash
Only $1.25 over? That's very fair in today's market. APMEX is pre-selling their house-brand struck bars for $4.99 over in quantity.

Is the monkey carrying a small bat?

Wouldn't it be nice if all business transactions went down like that
Well that eliminates any 'carrying cost' that often is associated with inventory...
Cheers, RickO
Your buyer was probably giddy with joy at your price. I almost died of shock looking at the current premiums at APMEX and the others.
Eagles

and the bars, all are sold out and this is the 'presale' of their house brand.

I agree 1.25 over is a deal right now.

I'm holding off buying a 2019 and 2020 for my Dansco, I can't imagine paying $24 each for a monster box.
I remember when Big Macs were $0.65 back in college.

Of course, 1.25 over was a nice deal for your buyer, but I'm sure you've earned a life-time customer.
You can never have enough people calling and looking for this kind of stuff.
It's not much of a markup, IF you paid spot......
I love hundred oz bars!
