Pure Coin Enjoyment

Nothing beats the feeling of holding a raw $20 gold piece in your hand. Ever since I was a kid I’ve always been struck by how heavy it is. This one was passed down by my grandfather.

I like a handful of Sovereigns. $20 gold piece is great too.
I completely agree... always liked the feel of a raw $20 gold coin in the hand....something 'substantial' about it...Cheers, RickO
I don't like the feel of gold unless it's in a plastic holder
I recently purchased a few raw $20’s and my initial impression was how heavy they are.
Would have been neat (totally in retrospect) to be able to have gold jingling around in my pocket. No, I'm not THAT old.

I’ve always wondered what it would be like to have had these in my pocket when they were circulating. Back then they’d ask you how you wanted your money while cashing your check at the bank. I don’t know about everyone else but I’d ask for my money in gold coins. That would be something 😊
Very cool double eagle my coin brother 👌
I agree. Just something about a twenty dollar Liberty. I bought a collection recently with quite s bit of gold. A couple $20 Liberties included. If they could only tell a story.
I’ve never held one, other than in a 2x2 or slab. Looks like fun!
