OT - Silver and Gold on Sale - Stocking Up!

Providing a little levity, I hope.

Publix liquor was running a special that I took advantage of recently, and couldn’t help but see the irony to today's PM prices and the need to stock up for the long term.

    I have a couple empty silver bottles I fill with silver Roosevelt’s, they fit nicely the mercury dimes have to be forced in and are a pain to get out so I just stick with Roosevelt’s.

    They closed all liquor stores here in The Commonwealth until further notice. I have a suspicion bottles of liquor will soon have more value than physical silver and gold.

    They have left the liquor stores open here in NYS, but closed the bars and restaurants...Liquor stores have been deemed 'essential services'....Cheers, RickO

    I imagine you will be getting many visitors from your neighbors to the south. Beer distributors deemed essential but not liquor stores. Stay safe. Crazy world.

    I don't understand that at all...…..They are the EXACT same size.

    @DIMEMAN.... I notice that as well.... No reason for that unless the bottle he had was at the low tolerance for the aperture. But that would have affected both equally...weird....Cheers, RickO

    Alcohol and MJ deemed "essential" here in Colorado. Need tax $$$.

    GSAs, OBW rolls, Seated, Walkers. Anything old and Colorado-focused, CO nationals.



    Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.
