Wade was a friend of mine. I was just with him on March 10th at the Newport County Coin Club. Wade was a fine dealer and a good person. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear this news. Wade and I set up near each other at a number of NE shows in years past... Willimantic, Westford, Manchester... and had always enjoyed doing business together. He was a stand-up guy.

My very best to his family.

He was possibly my best friend. I am just heart-broken about this. I was texting with him when he was in the ER and the sudden turn in his condition remains shocking to me.

I would like to say more, but I just can't wrap my mind around it right now.

Sorry to hear the sad news. I never met him, but we shared a common bond with the Green Bay Packers. I would have loved to chat with him about football.

Sorry that I didn't know him. Condolences to all his family and friends.

  • Wow. I knew Wade and Rose mostly from the Albany, N.Y. coin shows. He was a very knowledgeable and fair dealer. The numismatic community has lost a good person.

He looks familiar to me and I may have seen him at the local shows in MA or NH, but I did not know him personally.

My condolences to his family and friends.

    Wow, that's a shame.
Wade was a fine guy. We hadn't done much in the last many years, but once upon a time we had constant dealings......
    Rest in peace Wade........

That's quite a shock, only 58 years old. His currency holdings and knowledge were extensive. Just google his name and Heritage Auctions....

I just spoke with Wade a couple weeks ago, and was looking forward to seeing him in Willimantic at the end of the month.

I'm going to miss his 7:00am Sunday morning phone calls/texts telling me he's looking in a dealer's case and found something I'm going to want to buy, and he's always have it at his table for me when I got there. Wade was a wealth of knowledge and a great guy, and I feel lucky to have been able to call him my friend.

Here is the last note I purchased from Wade last fall.

If there's a coin show in the sky, I know when I go up to his table he's going to have a SN#1 large size national sheet behind his table waiting for me with a great story to go with it.
