Some bright coins and a hatchet in the air

ThreeCentSilverFLThreeCentSilverFL Posts: 1,700 ✭✭✭✭✭

I'm taking a few days off of work. Was going to take the family to Disney, but never mind. We're going to take the canoe out instead.

In the meantime, I've found myself over the past few months interested in clean, bright AU half busts with a bit of luster left. Maybe dipped, i don't know... Anyway, here are a few bright capped bust halves to brighten this otherwise overcast, yet prudent status quo. Stay clean and safe.

PS the last photo is me throwing a hatchet at a somewhat open air hatchet throwing establishment. That was a 7 point shot. B)

There are 4 or 5 of these establishments around here. The one in the pic in the OP is definitely the best around here.

Very, very nice coins... And hatchet throwing is a lot of fun... we used to do it when I was a kid...hatchets with wooden handles...and always tried to split the handle of my competitor....They did not like me.... >:):D;) I had fashioned a steel plate, formed to the back of my 'special' hatchet....Their hatchet, if it hit mine, would deflect off... had offers to buy my hatchet...never sold it. :D Cheers, RickO

So I still have my Woodmans Pal from Nam. Mice ate the sheath but it's not on my waist anymore. Peace Roy

It looks like you're only about 6-7 feet from the target. Does the hatchett ever bounce back at the thrower?

You might get closer to the bull's-eye if you improve your focus a bit ;)
