Is PCGS Remaining open?

Just wanted to make sure PCGS was planning to remain open, as I don't want to send submissions in and have them sit for weeks at the PO?

Actually, PCGS sent out this email to members:
PCGS
MARCH GRADING EVENT
MARCH 13-27, 2020
In light of the Baltimore Whitman Expo and other coin show cancellations across the nation, we have put together a special offer to allow you to receive the same PCGS show services you know and love from the comfort of your home.
PCGS will be offering a special grading event starting now through Friday, March 27.
Special Offer:
Walkthrough Service Level will be discounted $50 from $150 to only $100.
In addition, all show service services such as Show Economy and Show Rarity will be active for office submissions at regular price.
Steps to Submit:
Complete, print, and sign a PCGS U.S., PCGS World or PCGS Show Form (U.S. and World coins may not be combined on the same form).
Write "March Grading Event" in the "Other" section of the submission form.
Write "WTW" in large bold letters on the outside of the package on all sides.
Ship to PCGS Headquarters by Friday, March 27 (standard shipping rates apply). All orders received by this date will be completed within a week and shipped back.
Receive your completed order directly to your door without leaving the comfort of your home!
I’d suggest checking with a company by the name of PCGS on that.😉

Yes, I’ve heard that they even work on February 29th, each and every year!😉

Mark,
I realized that, but was actually wanting to mail the submission out at the Post office when I am there at 9am eastern , and wanted to make sure before I sent it out, if somebody happen to know ahead of time being there west coast time.
If you haven’t already done so, I’d message Heather, in case she sees it and knows the answer.

Plans now could change...last I heard, shutting down domestic flights is a real possibility. Think about what that would do to the mail system. I wouldn't want anything in limbo for weeks personally.
Early American Copper, Bust and Seated.
@jdimmick Better also check with USPS as otherwise you might need to find someone on horseback named Ford Lincoln Mercury to get your coins there
Send them in.... unless you are one who checks status daily...then the stress could be worse than the virus.
Cheers, RickO
Well, once they do come back they should be safe cause it takes longer than 9 days...
My latest submission has been in the encapsulation stage for several days now... hmm

Encapsulation/imaging always takes a while. Wait a minute are you imaging?
Yes, I usually add GS to my orders. Do they wait to post grades until after imaging now? Used to be grades would post, then several days go by and then the images show up.

At this time there are no plans to close the PCGS main office. We are following the guidelines of the CDC and government agencies closely and will take any needed actions as COVID 19 develops. All customers will be notified should this change.

Thanks for the update!

Not sure, I slept since then. I think your right that the images come shortly after the grades and it used to be a few days.
Oopsie.......just a day later, things change.....
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Hi Joe, all is well. I sent an email to you yesterday, did you get it?
