It's a story on CNN, good to see something about our hobby. Please spare us "it's CNN" bullsh*t too. You don't have to click on the link, maybe find another bubble instead.

Pretty basic stuff, but nice to have been on a mainstream news outlet.

    Interesting.
Biggest thing I got out of that article is that Nickelodeon wasn’t just a TV channel 😱

Very good article...Thanks for the link. So many young people have no idea that Buffalo nickels were once common in circulation... And the design is far more intriguing to them than dead politicians. Cheers, RickO

Since it's in the "Style" section of CNN, does that imply coin collectors have style?! (Mustard stains be damned). ;)

just read the article and i really enjoyed it. I can still remember when I was a teenager and it seemed that 30 percent or so of all nickels were buffaloes. When I was on vacation with my grandfather in Herminie Pa I would go to the First National Bank of Herminie with 10 dollars or so. thats all I had to my name as a teenager. I would go to the teller and ask for five rolls of nickels. then i would go sit down in a chair inside the bank and go through the roll, using one roll to contain the buffaloes I found. There I once found an AU 1913 type two that was still circulating, though not very long I guess. Great fun to say the least.
