Nothing

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Ok, found 3 rolls so far of 1995. They are all red but have small carbon spots on them.
A Brillo pad.
Some carbon particles can be gently removed with a thorn but most cannot. Zinc is unstable IMO. Peace Roy

I'll try that!!
NOT,!
I believe that most Zincolns will self destruct over time.
Move on to one with no spots. No remedy that we have found.
I figured zinc was like that.
Zinc or copper. Carbon spots (maybe misnamed) are forever. Move along.
Lance.
The black spots - called carbon spots - are not, for the most part, removable. and the few that do come off will leave an unsightly spot anyway. Cheers, RickO
Figured. I may run the 4 rolls thru a Coinstar!
