Pogue's Barber Collection

I received my catalog for the upcoming Pogue sale. I think many people were surprised to see his collection of Barber coins. I don't collect these coins and was wondering how his collection stacked up against some of the best Barber coin collections that have been put together? Thanks

Was Dr. Duckor’s set the standard by which others are measured?
I know the Barberites spoke highly of it.
I saw the Duckor Barber Half Registry Set many years ago. It is the gold standard. Might add that he got two of the nicest coins from Tahoe Dale.

I don't believe Duckor collected Barber quarters or dimes, only halves (Let me know if I'm mistaken). Pogue's set is a quarter set that is wonderful. I believe he bought this set intact (through Larry Hanks and Richard Burdick) several years ago from an east coast collector, and upgraded where he could (which wasn't much).
Yes, I was thinking about the halves only, sorry.
CNNcoins - Dr. Duckor did collect
Barber quarters and was #11 all time finest. He also collected
Barber dimes and was #6 all time
finest .
He also collects Lincoln Cents
1909 - 1933 . Heritage will be selling his Lincoln Cents next month at Central States.
I knew he collected Lincolns...thanks for the help. Did he auction his quarters and dimes?
The barber quarter collection is our own famous member Sunnywoods collection. Plus a few upgrades as Chris stated.
Yes, Mr Duckor collected dimes and quarters as well as halves, and had them pedigreed on the holders before sold.

Where are these coins being sold?
Through Stack's Bowers on March 20, 2020 at Baltimore. There are many other sessions on their site including the Pogue collection of Paper money.

His Standing Liberty Quarters are stunning as well.
