Reminds me of about 20 years ago my wife and I were going to Canada to visit relatives and one of our older neighbours brought over a baggy of coins to spend there - several Canadian large cents, sterling 10c and 25c coins etc. I told her the coins were too valuable and that she should keep them, she did, but passed away a few months later and I can only imagine her kids dumped them for a pittance in a local coin shop.

Old original coins and not one with “monster toning”. Makes you think.

Old original well circulated coins without "monster toning". No thinking involved.

Somebody's little collection of interesting coins they had come across over many years, some passed down, etc.
That Barber half looks like it was plucked from circulation in the 1950's.
The US large cents probably plucked in the 1860's.

That's one of the most worn quarter eagle Indians that I've ever seen. It's cool.....
