    It depends. Are they all coins that the dealer specializes in? If the dealer is a generalist, is it likely that he would try to flip what you sell him to another dealer?

    A separate consideration is your prior dealings with the dealer, if any, and what the terms of the sale are (e.g., cash or consignment for a better price, or trade or...).

    I would have have worded it: " 93-S $ in 65, should I buy this beaned or not?"

    I would never pay over $50.00 for a plated 1943 steel cent whether it was authenticated or not.
