Didn't see this one coming - looks like Jeff got lucky tonight!

"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." No idea. I'm also at a loss too. This was a great price.
Jeff sold 2, one at $242.50 and the other at $44.06.
It is looking like I am going to have to list all of my PCGS FUN sample slabs.............
Full moon tonight??

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Must be it!
Some collectors collect unusual things like slabs, that's all. A potato chip shaped like the white house would probably dwarf the almost $300 price of that slab. So what. It's their money and their passion. Live and let live.
Spacehayduke - LMK what you have for sale!
Insider2 - Believe me, I understand plastic - but we are talking about a "limited" edition of 280 - and it took 2 bidders to get it there. Unbelievable......
Perhaps someone is building a complete set of state quarters in "special" slabs. That would be a real challenge to complete. Two hundred dollars might be worth the price to that person. Look what many Daniel Carr issues go for.
.
Read the listing closely. The coin comes with lunch.
It came with lunch, unless I'm missing something.
People collect different things... and these bidders wanted this coin/slab item....One of my collecting interests is old decks of playing cards (have one deck that is over 100 years old)...Have fun in life, we only get one...
Cheers, RickO
I sold one not too long ago, price was closer to $60. Still happy with the outcome.
