Well, we are now officially a third world country when it comes to coinage.
And another thing. This celebrates VE Day. What about VJ Day? In May of 1945 my Dad was still in the Philippines planning to hit a beach in Japan that September!

Incorrect, check the article as it does not apply to the gold eagle. They're making a special $25 gold coin whose design has not been determined yet, not an eagle, as the second coin. Will pick up the ASE version but no interest in whatever ugly design they choose for the gold coin
