Nashua Show Report...

Well, back from the Nashua show. As always, there were lots of dealers and lots of goodies to pore over. Stopped by Ernie’s (EBW Promotions) table and did a great deal with him. Ernie runs both the Nashua and Devens monthly shows.
I met our forum’s own @JohnnyCache . Nice guy; always great to meet a forum member in person. We had a great chat about market trends, CAC, etc. Then off he went to spend some money.
Speaking of spending money, I managed to pick up a nice 1900 $5 Lib in a PCGS MS-62 rattler. May have a shot at a Green Bean.
I noticed lots of pre-1933 gold trading hands but it appears that bullion was king. Lots of silver 10 ozt bars trading along with quite a few silver 100 ozt bars. AGEs appeared to be selling better than gold bars or other forms.
Every table was taken this month so it was very crowded. All in all a great show with lots of fresh inventory. Can’t wait until Devens.
Cheers

Bob,
It was a pleasure to meet you at the show today. You are absolutely correct that the show really seemed quite crowed, it was a bit hot in there as well.
At times, you could barely squeeze through the crowd, which for me, immediately resulted in the thought that I best get myself on a diet.
I also agree with Bob that there was quite a bit of bullion trading hands today.
I watched as various bars, rounds and junk silver flew from dealers cases.
I noted the sale of at least two 100 oz silver bars being sold from one dealer in a matter of only a few minutes of each other. Not unusual at bigger shows for sure, but for a small show like this I've found it to be less common for dealers to be able to move the large 100 oz bars and more typical for them to sell 10 oz bars and under.

Thanks, 2 reports 1 thread.
Great reports.... Interesting about the PM movement.... that would indicate to me that prices may drop... since people usually buy on the rise and sell as prices fall....strange, but true. No idea why, or if, PM prices will fall at all, just an observation. Seems like the show was really busy with a lot of business,...coin market looking good...Cheers, RickO
Cool. I considered making the trip but I guess I'll be keeping my powder dry till Manchester at least.
