Sweet Find! I believe these are 50% Silver.

Canadian non silver is easily distinguishable using a magnet.

I do like roll searching but this sort of puts it in perspective, :/

I did find a major error once that is worth a few thousand $, but even that score doesn't cover all the hours I have spent. I guess it's a bit like gambling, only I never lose money. The worst I do is break even, It is sort of relaxing, though.

My girlfriend and I looked through 2 boxes of cents on Saturday night, Mind you we have been together for almost 8 years.
We had a lot of fun, Drank Wine, cooked.. Watched her favorite shows about Serial Killers

It was the most we have bonded in a while and was a pretty healthy experience for the both of us, of course she found the most “Stuff” lots of Wheaties, a Dime, clipped planchet, Canadian cents, machine doubled 1972 🧐

She wants to do it again soon.. think I’m going to “plant” an Indian Cent into the mix

Was the hourly rate good? Sure was

Silver is always a fun find....last silver I found was about two weeks ago... a '64 Rosie in the Coinstar...Cheers, RickO

  • I find it a lot of fun to sit with my grand sons and look through rolls. Fun time and off the tablets and phones. They get to keep what ever we find so the hunt is more fun that way. My time spent, yup, worth the few cents I may give away. Love teaching and just hanging with those boys. Looking forward to the Long Beach Expo next week. More fun just hanging and hunting.
