I’ve decided to share a few pictures for those of you that do not purchase the uncirculated specimen 5 ounce ATB releases so here’s some pictures for your view and enjoyment
Item 20AJ purchased 2/5 ship 2/7. Caps are extremely tight so they are sealed proper I score this a 70

I am clearly late to the party here, but why are these offered in a puck size? Are they offering it for all the new quarters or just certain ones?

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

These are the actual uncirculated specimens. They are P mintmarked. Mint price is 178.25 so if your looking for bullion they will be a little cheaper. I like the Unc

These are available in all ATB releases. I set up auto enrollment for 2 separate so if I one to open one I can send the other for FDI. you can also buy from MCM or other authorized dealers in a Bullion Proof finish for silver stack or grading. That’s is the diff. If you want the collectors version it is called a SP or specimen and will have the mint mark.

You should download the PCGS APP and you can see SP as a tab and some are worth some serious $$ as long as the are spot free. Meaning no water marks.

You can look up price population and see holders for sale right on the bottom.

Considering a tube of the bullion version.

How about a run down on all the differences between the collector version and the bulk bullion version. Edge lettering on both? Burnished?

I do believe so but have not checked out Dillion’s version yet. I suspect they are same without the P. From what I recall the Unc has an additional process that adds the glitter on top of the coins. It’s sparkly layer occurs after but will confirm.

Confirmed. They both have edge lettering so they are the same edge just not frosted.

Wow, great pictures and info! I ordered one this morning and debated about a second but see they are back ordered, as you said. Any idea if this is due to demand or production issues (I guess they go hand in hand)?

The bullion version is available at many bullion type dealers and the usual coin stores. I have used Provident since the beginning to obtain the bullion version at bullion prices which is much less per ounce than the Mint's Uncirculated version. The Uncirculated version is much nicer, as you can imagine, than the bullion version.

Some of the bullion versions are near proof like and look great...and now they are around $70 cheaper per puck

Kinda like matte (P) vs. glossy (bullion)

Most definitely nice surfaces and a great strike on that coin.

I like the pucks, but I continue to wish they had changed the denomination from "quarter dollar" to something more reasonable considering the size.
I think if they had changed this part of the design to say something like "seventy-five dollars," they would be more popular
