First newp for 2020

DLRC accepted my offer. I expected a counteroffer, but nope- they accepted.

I am pleased. Haven't owned a Feuchtie in a long time, and I think the last two were holed pieces, on my once-famous Holey Coin Vest.

Happy New Year and Leap Year, friends!

Are you shooting for a box of 50? It used to be 20, right?

I dropped the 20 coin limit four years ago. Was in the low 50s recently. Sold a couple. High 40s now, I think.

I count 42 now in my box, not including this Feuchtwanger, a 1907 PCGS MS64 OGH $2.50, and some stuff off at PCGS.

Do you look for certain types of designs, or buy something when you stumble across it, or buy something because you want to learn more about the era, etc? I am curious, because I have, off an on, collected many kinds of coins (foreign and U.S.), but never ancient or Asian coins.

I was going to ask this as well. Die chip at the 7? May not be all that common if so.

The Feuchtwanger specialists will know about the blundered 7. It is a known variety- one of the holed pieces I owned also had it.
