Not amazing, just want to share. Bought my first ANA medal.

Stumbled upon it at the LCS. I don't have one and figured it would be good to add to my small exonumia collection.

Thanks for looking!

Back in the day, they really did a great job on these.

    Nice pickup!

To add to the cool-factor, this piece was struck by the US Mint in Philadelphia and is considered a part of the National Commemorative Medal genre of US Mint medals. They are gaining in popularity due to many reasons including the relatively recent publication of two similar books documenting this “series”. I believe the series is also riding the wave of generally greater interest in exonumia overall.

Nice addition to the collection. Club medals can be interesting, as is this one!

    Medals are really, really neat.

Not in a financial position to justify another collecting detour ATM.

Thank you. It is unfortunately not in the greatest condition. Do you or anyone else have recommendations regarding the preservation and storage of bronze medals? I now have a handful of them and would like to keep them as nice as possible.

Store them like all coins, in a dry environment free of wide ranging temp changes. Humidity is the killer of coins, so if you throw in some desiccant packs to your safe/SDB you should be good to go. Keep them out of the basement.
