Yes. That strange looking claw thing overlapping the shield is normal. I wondered that too once, and checked other ASE coins to see if I had a variety. Nope! Good eye though.

Don’t eat the bat coin you could get the corona virus. All jokes aside those are attractive coins, I really like the bats and butterfly.

    1. Where are you getting that the coins shown are .999 Silver?
    2. Where are you getting that the coins shown are the same price?

The 2019 and the 2020 Congratulations Set were both .999 Silver and the price for 2020 went up $9.55
The 2020 America the Beautiful Silver Proof Set (not released yet) is going up $5.50
The 2020 American the Beautiful Proof set that has been released went up $2.55

Three of quarter reverses have a pleasant touch of Chinese coin design. They are not overcrowded as are most US quarter reverse designs.

While I love the Batcoin, I'm torn between it and the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee recommended design that did not make the final cut. It actually has a Samoan flair about it:

I believe the price is set on spot and changes based on a schedule. Costs of creating the coins are not up so maybe price to spot moved but I don’t count that change. It’s a hedge thing lol.

The Mint prices Gold, Platinum and Palladium based on LBMA fix pricing. The Mint doesn’t price numismatic Silver or clad based on LBMA fix pricing. So far this year Every item the Mint has priced (not BEP items) has shown a price Increase vs. 2019...

The Mint Increased Platinum pricing matrix by $175.00 per ounce last week. No matter what price matrix level you have, a 2020 Platinum Proof went up in price by $175.00/oz. vs. corresponding price matrix level for 2019...

Ridiculous. I'm one they lost on this, and disconnected from the plats for a couple years now. So they may not care, but I'd imagine I am not the only one.

To clarify I Hedge currency and precious metals so I use those gains to offset my additions. Sorry to confuse the discussion. I now realize not everyone does that. Price schedules for ticket price is available on the mint site and if you buy a lot you get discounts.
