  @asheland....Great parking lot find..... a $20 bill is a truly 'happy' find..... I have found two over the past decade....I always do a happy dance when I find one.....Don't dance much, so it is a sight to behold... Cheers, RickO

  Happened to me too. I was delivering mail in bad winter snow conditions and saw a 20 sticking out of the snow and ice.

  Oh wow.. the wife and I were talking about this last night while watching metal detector videos. Someone had a property consistently producing 1890-1950 silver. A lot of people lost their grocery money for the week by dropping a single coin. I can't imagine losing a half dollar in 1900, I bet that was devastating to some.
