Are we going to see $1600 again during FUN?

As someone here astutely noted, rising metal prices are a positive for a successful FUN.

Currently:
GOLD $1,589.00 (+14.40)

One might very well prefer to be at home and not hundreds of miles away from home.

Be very careful what you wish for.

I see that gold has dropped back below 1,600. I also heard some reports that the missile my have resulted in minimal damage.

Yes but one guy talked to taken his gold off market so will only have numismatic material at FUN. He believes gold going higher than 1600. Says “might have a few there but marked up in stratosphere.” He has some CAC too says “it’s marked up bid plus 50 pct they gonna have to pay the money for that. In coming months it will skyrocket.”

Both sides claim victory. Our President says "No Casualties" Iran is saying "Maximum Damage", so maybe it will end with that.

I remember around 250 (I think in 2000, after the world didn't end on January1). I recall a gentleman from Ohio coming into the coin shop and was looking at gold. He said he still had the gold he paid $800 an ounce for, but was all in and still buying.

All you old-timers have those of us newer to the game jealous. I am underwater on most of my bullion, as I began collecting only around 2009. Most of my metals "collection" was purchased at much higher prices than today. Ill be "underwater" until silver gets back to $35/oz, gold 1700, and even then Ill be sitting on some cool looking platinum probably worth half what I paid for it.

Thanks but I'll pass. Can and do buy pre-1933 at melt as late as last week as I have mentioned in previous posts. If you're expecting a drop you should be happy to sell @ melt. Best you can do anywhere else will be 97% if you're lucky on generic gold.
