At first take, this one is really not a big deal. 1946 Jefferson Nickels are typically not very pretty and high grades are tough. So this one is just an average example, until.........

.........you flip it over and BAM!

This will be the first full step example of this Cherry Picker Variety, DDR FS-801. Gotta get it attributed. I happen to be the co-discoverer of this variety. Pretty cool it was selected to be included in the CPG.

As I always say.....if you don't look, you'll never find!

Happy Hunting

Nice. I have been looking for one of these, but not too much effort yet. Does it have all the messy look around Monticello?

I'll try to get some nice pictures. The "messy" stuff over MONTECELLO is not super strong, but there. In the meantime, check out a couple other examples on James Wiles' web site.

Very nice. Wish I could get the CPG to add some more in my series.
