Schrodinger's 2019-S ERP Silver Eagle # 1 signed COA

As long as it's sealed in the mint packaging, tucked away in my safe, I both do and do not have the # 1 signed COA.
Until some lucky guy or gal actually gets it, a man can dream, right?
Who is actually storing the unopened box without peeking?

No, you don’t have and not have it. It’s one or the other - you just don’t know which, at this time.

Surely the Mint director kept it for himself, I would.
In quantum mechanics, the state of an unobserved particle is a wave function representing a probabilistic combination of possible states (generally spin up/spin down) until the object is observed and its state is fixed. Extrapolating this, Schrödinger’s cat is both alive and dead.
Certificate #1 was in the box that a forum member accidentally had sent to an old address and it was returned to the mint and then destroyed.
So, there @MFeld !

We may not know for years where it is. If it never shows, does the market value of unopened boxes rise?
The OP is referring to Schrodinger's Cat. It is clever. It went right over your head. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schrödinger's_cat
"Schrödinger's cat is a thought experiment, sometimes described as a paradox, devised by Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger in 1935, though the idea originated from Albert Einstein.[1] It illustrates what he saw as the problem of the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics applied to everyday objects. The scenario presents a hypothetical cat that may be simultaneously both alive and dead,[2][3][4][5][6][7][8] a state known as a quantum superposition, as a result of being linked to a random subatomic event that may or may not occur."

Yes, I was unaware of that.

well, can anyone prove that he does not have #1?
No, and they also can't prove the coin is not a triple struck doubled die with a 1/10th ounce gold coin struck into it.
It's like the coin dealer who had a "complete" set of buffalo nickels in a Whitman folder. All the coins were dateless, but no one could prove him wrong.
This is fun to watch!

I also think #1 was kept and given to someone or some organization
