Instagram Coin Business at 100 posts

First off, I want to thank all of you who answered all of my questions and helped me get set up on Instagram. When I started, I knew absolutely nothing about that platform. I wanted to do it right and I think I did thanks to all of your help.
I have posted at least one coin every single day since I have started. I still need to post today. I have posted 100 posts (3 months) which netted me, 627 followers. That is way more than I expected and shows a very healthy coin community on Instagram. Way more active than even this the best internet coin forum, IMO. So, my take is the coin hobby is alive and well and in fact thriving. So many young people on Instagram and asking many questions. Knowledge is a good thing.
I have sold many of the coins I posted as a result of Instagram, so yes coin dealers, it absolutely works for sales.
Instagram is work however as I (in my mind) have to post one really cool major error coin ever single day. This means I have to buy one super cool major error coin every single day to keep up on the images to post. That it itself is challenging work.
Check out how I set up my page if you want. ctf_error_coins #errorcoins

Great experience and great post. Thanks for providing it.
Good to know more about what's happening on IG and good lucky posting one great coin a day! It sounds like a great challenge.
Yep, just followed here too.
Hey buddy, I been watching the errors coming in on my feed and some are the coolest coins ive ever seen. Keep it up. Be sure to tag me if its a lincoln though haha.

You can also post ones you have owned previously rather than trying to force brand new coins up every day. That will help evangelize and draw in traffic. I've dropped the ball recently on my (non-commercial) page but have been slowly adding content and grew to 1,100 followers in just a month or two of active posting.

That's cool. I had a customer in this week . I asked them how they found me. They said " I googled you". I giggled and said, "I'm googlish".

I'm not an error collector, but you have another new follower!
Glad to hear it is going well for you!!!
Wow, have we reached a point where if you don't pop up on people's phone at least once a day, they might stop paying any attention to you?

So out of the 100 posts that I posted, only one was already sold and I asked the new owner for permission to use my photos on Instagram which they did. I do not like posting other people's coins without their permission and frankly, I would rather only post available inventory.
I do not mind posting every day and I do believe it is expected of a business.
I do like buying new excited inventory because I really like coins.
But, But, But all the dinosaurs on this forum are saying the hobby is dying!!! PCGS3000 is nosediving and CAC is "bifurcating" the market and millennials are minimalists, so they just take their families coin collection to the smelter, right??? Are all the AARP members migrating to IG now or is something else happening? (sarcasm)
I applaud you for keeping up with a one-a-day post rate! (I’ve been on Instagram for nearly three years and just crossed the 100 post mark last week.)
I also must say that you post some very interesting error coins. Many are quite spectacular and are a treat to see pop up in my feed.
Fantastic posts- I love how you keep it consistent with the same photo types. With that in mind, if I were you I would probably pick your favorite error coin and use that as your avatar as it will quickly identify that your account is solely devoted to coins from a branding perspective. Great work overall and I’m excited to see your continued posts.
Nice! Just followed!
Very nice.... I am now a follower...Great pictures.... I have mentioned before, IG is definitely busy with coin sellers/buyers... Cheers, RickO
Been following for awhile, you do post some really cool stuff! I usually post 2 to 3 times a week, but I don't sell out there so I can see the need to post more often if running sales. Doesn't hurt that it's a free listing either.
There ares several other dealers that post their wares out there, and I've found many a nice coin there.

I love how you came on here and asked for help, advice and guidance and then went and made it happen. Very smart.
Now that you have a solid number of people following, you shouldn't worry about slowing down a little. Posting a few coins a week vs. one every day isn't likely to make someone stop following you. The frequent initial posting is important to build up a following and have something to show when people view your profile, but you've already achieved both.
Best wishes for your 2020 business and I could see you getting very very busy
