Micro Characteristic on Lincoln Cent

This Uncirculated cent shows a few die breaks leading up to and on to the wheat ear where a small chunk of the die (Die Chip) fell out leaving a hole for planchet metal to fill. The breaks and lumps are raised on the coin.

I forgot the date but these are fairly common on dates in the 50's.
Your photography skills are second to none.
Yea Skip, the wheat ears tend to be weak spots on the dies. Of course it would help if the dies were properly stress hardened in the first place.
