Yes, just rolls from the bank

It's OK if you are working on filling an album but the coins you show will merit no premium. Are you spending your collecting time and effort in the right place by roll searching. Probably not.

I like that Zombie nickel - I had forgotten the date of that one. I'll have to keep my eyes open (no pun intended).

The Zombie nickel is the result of overzealous polishing of the dies that clashed. It probably exists for other dates.

Finding a 38 is an event. Only found one in all my years of searching. And that was 40+ years ago.

Finding '38 and '39 dated nickels is not much of an event for me, but finding one with a mintmark is an event. I have found about a dozen '39-D's but only two '42-D's - one just last week.

That's just the opposite of my experience.
    Found quite a few 42-D but never a 39-D.
    Weird.

I agree! What a Hobby. What other hobby can you have fun searching through rolls at no cost? The same time one can find a special coin to make a profit? Once again, at NO cost. <3

Keep at it Coin_nut1977. At this point you are dedicated. If you keep your focus, someday you will Have a very nice collection and what's even better......knowledge!
Also, roll searching Jefferson nickels is fun to a point but sooner or later it's a dead end. Keep at it but read everything you can find. DO RESEARCH. If you do your research you will eventually branch out. Regardless, if you stay the course, everything you are doing now will pay off in the future. Others here are telling you the same thing. Just be persistent. Good luck!

And...smash down the staples on your 2x2 flips. They can cause damage of not flattened. Also....you can get twice as many coins in a box if the staples are flat!

$10 bucks gets you a flat stapler. Roll searching is fun. Peace Roy

I love to coin roll hunt for Jefferson's as well. One of the few places left where I feel like I can consistently find coins 1964 and earlier. It's not about the money or rarity for me, just brings back good memories from my childhood.
