Gold Eagle, PCGS First Strike - Does this coin (and holder) look right to you?

First, let me say I'm not a gold collector at all, but the ebay bucks promotion has me looking at buying some gold near spot prices.
This auction looks suspicious. The seller has not sold in a year, although they seem to have feedback for coins. The label does not look like other PCGS labels, although I also must admit I don't know whether PCGS could have changed things between other coins of this exact issue since the First Strike designation comes from a sealed mint box (right?). And the coin is several hundred cheaper than any other example.
Counterfeit or just a bargain?
Anyway, here it is:

All looks good. What details are concerning you? I have some first strike slabs that look like that one.
Font looks different. "First Strike" especially looks a bit off. (r) symbol not in the right place. Corners of slab (stacking things) don't look right. Series, grade, and cert number are aligned top of barcode, other is middle barcode.
Reputable dealer/seller is the way to go.
It looks OK to me and cert number checks out.... If you are bothered, skip it....Cheers, RickO
I looked at some of my First Strike slabs. They resemble the 2014 ASE you have pictured. These aren’t easily accessible right now and this is the only scan I have for now. This weekend I will gather all of my First Strikes and check them out.
It looks perfectly fine to me.

I guess I'm just paranoid from the amount of counterfeits I see nowadays.
It’s always good to be cautious and don’t buy unless your completely confident it’s real especially if it’s a lot of money. And all ways buy from a Reputable dealer

If you are that paranoid, don't buy anything on the internet.
Even if that slab looks perfect, how do you know it isn't just a stock image?
Use a credit card. It's a hassle but you can always return it through eBay or file a chargeback through PayPal and/or your credit card company.
Contrary to popular belief, 99% of the people on eBay are solid, upstanding citizens. The other 1% are easily avoidable.

no red flags. use PP with a credit card (that earns rebates).
