I saw this post last night and clicked th link - it was shocking.

The ebay seller listed some coins for sale and the seller included photos of the coins on a scale and the "magnet test" to prove that the coins were real silver. The seller had about 14 reviews and about 75% positive rating - so not a great track record. Some of the reviews said that the coins and other items arrived damaged and that the seller threatened to sue the buyers for complaining. In fact, in the seller's description in this lot, he include a 1,000-word rant about the authenticity of his coins and his intent to sue all buyers who complained about anything. It was paragraphs of threats and accusations against potential buyers. That alone would prevent me from bidding on the item. It was awful.

I wonder if he's now banned from eBay? Is there any way to check?

I didn't bookmark the listing or seller so I don't know why the listing was pulled. But it was really offensive...!

Someone probably reported him to eBay. Hopefully he's been banned.

"My grandfathers (sic) death is you're (sic) gain". Sounds like he was real close with dear old grandpa. Wonder if he tried to sue grandpa after grandpa complained that one time.

For those interested here is a text version of the seller's rant:

    Description

If you decide to proceed with Ebay for a refund and
Ebay Grants you that refund from my account.
I WILL FILE A LAWSUIT UNDER SMALL CLAIMS
AND WILL BE CHARGED COUNT FINES, MY
ATTORNEY FEES, 50 DOLLARS PER DAY MY
ACCOUNT HAS FUNDS HELD, LASTLY THE PRICE
OF ITEM. ANY ACTION RELATING TO BUYING MY
ITEMS WILL BE CONSIDERED A SIGNATURE ON
THIS WRITTEN BINDING CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT
A JOKE AND SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN LIGHTLY.

No returns can be accepted (listing clearly states) as
I can't control how USPS or any other company treat
their packages or the people that handle them.

I will reimburse any buyer for overage charges that
occur in error on any package postage.

Shipping prices also have handling fees that reflect
time, gas, material, etc. If you're buying multiple items
contact me via messaging to discuss cost. Please
understand total price includes shipping. Please DO
NOT bid if shipping cost is a problem for you.

The items that i sell are mine, meaning if someone
wants me to sell an item I have physical control of
item on listing. I ENCOURAGE everyone to inquire
info about item BEFORE Bidding or Buying. If you
want a30 second video watching me package the item
ASK for it. The pictures posted are taken by me, never
ever using generic photos. Why? Because you (the
buyer) need to know EXACTLY what your buying.

With that said DON'T ASK FOR A RETURN
BECAUSE THE ITEM WAS DAMAGED BY
SHIPPING COMPANY. This is out of my control and

PLEASE UNDERSTAND I'M NOT A COLLECTOR
NOR DO I HAVE CAPABILITIES OF PROVING REAL
OR FAKE. AFTER GOOGLING THESE COINS I
    DEPICTED WEIGHT AND MAGNETISM THEY
CHECK GOOD AS THOSE 2 TESTS WERE
COMPLETED. BLACK DOTS ARE THERE TO
SHOW I ACTUALLY HAVE 6 IN TOTAL. MY
    GRANDFATHERS DEATH IS YOU'RE GAIN

READ THIS DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING OR
    BUYING
    BECAUSE YOU'RE SIGNING A CONTRACT!

I will not claim any knowledge on coins. Luckily
Google knows a little and assisted me. Pictures show
WEIGHT TEST AND MAGNETIC TEST, each coin is
marked via black marker. So many stinking
scammers i want to make sure you see which coins
I'm testing. I'm a honest seller and do everything i can
so you can make a good determination. PLEASE ASK
QUESTIONS, I WELCOME ALL FORMS OF
    COMMUNICATION.

It's a total shame any of this needs addressing but
    here we go.
When you Bid, Buy Now, Offer an amount you're
agreeing to a Binding Written Contract (See Ebay
Terms and Conditions) Therefore AGREEING TO MY
CONDITIONS (Description) OF SALE. IF SHIPPING
COMPANY DAMAGES YOUR ITEM, DON'T ASK
    FOR RETURN OR REFUND.

With that said DON'T ASK FOR A RETURN
BECAUSE THE ITEM WAS DAMAGED BY
SHIPPING COMPANY. This is out of my control and
buying my items mean your rolling the dice NOT ME.
If you want extra insurance or specific request
understand there might be an extra cost to do so. Like
any start up business, i cant afford to pay for
    someone's mistakes.

I sincerely apologize that this even needs to be
addressed but i take pride in my customer service
skills and will own any mistake made by me in our
    future transactions.

Fine Print Recap on above information

I use USPS mainly. Please feel free to contact me if
there are further questions or concerns No returns
accepted, items l'm selling will be shipped in condition
of pictures. Items will be packed well and will not be
responsible for damages by usps. Shipping price also
includes handling so please understand extra shipping
cost applies to gas money, material, time to pack. If
you buy multipte items I will consider applying
    discount to ship.

This will be sold through Ebay and save questions
about selling outside. Please understand I reserve
right to end or change auction that doesn't already
    have a committed buyer/bidder.

Buy It! Questions just ask and I'm entertaining all
    offers

Maybe I've missed it but what is the seller's Ebay ID?

"Gold is money, and nothing else" (JP Morgan, 1912)

"“Those who sacrifice liberty for security/safety deserve neither.“(Benjamin Franklin)

"I only golf on days that end in 'Y'" (DE59)
