Graded a little better with our host
Before...

Now...

Answers to a few questions that may be asked:

1- It was sent raw
2- Its for my personal collection
3-Yes I thought it was under graded but was not expecting a full grade bump.
4- VSS attributed the Vam and I will link the Vamworld page if anyone wants to know more.

I like it and no such thing as a boring Morgan.

Each is a significant artifact of US history.

Congratulations on the upgrade.... Morgans are just really nice, big, silver coins. They have a large following in the collector world and their popularity is unquestioned. Cheers, RickO

Yes, a testament to corruption and poor government inventory management. ;)

I was thinking more of Ben Cartwright throwing one across the Delaware, but yes, you are correct.

Ben Cartwright threw one across the Delaware? Was that at Ponderosa East?

Can't agree. Subsidizing mining (and railroads and frontier Army posts et al) was part of how the American West was opened up and settled. Super important for the nation.
