For boring reasons I won't explain, I cannot watch the video right now. But I want to say that classical music on violin and piano together is my favorite way to hear it.
Thats a young Barenboim. He's fun to watch as a conductor but he's also a world class pianist and plays Beethoven's Piano Concertos like a champ. My next concert at the Philadelphia Orchestra is Beethoven's 1st Piano Concerto in January, then I have the 5th & 6th symphonies in March, and the 9th in April.
Classical can really push your buttons I've found.
To me you have to really listen and trust your reflex's.
Also dont over do it, theres a time and place for my liking.
I dont follow any one type of music but i do listen.
But theres a special place in my reflex for,
Peter & The Wolf , which can steer you in any direction classicaly.
Is that even a word?

The violin is so rarely good. That was great.

To keep it coin related, we should also play his Funeral March as it describes many segments of our hobby.
Or Ode to Joy, when the coin comes back with a gold sticker.
Good music, well played, is always welcome....Cheers, RickO
way cool
I agree. That instrument just grates on my nerves. To me it all sounds like Jack Benny. Remember him? He was funny.
Benny was great. Henny Youngman though was superb.
I don't like the banjo either. So....Bluegrass is definitely not my favorite. A banjo AND a fiddle!
Chuck Berry is the King. He invented it. Everybody else was just a cheap knockoff.
So is your sense of humor.....superb that is.

Lost video footage discovered of Sarah Chang performing at a grade school function is something really special.
Try to ignore the dude that looks like Freddie Mercury behind her.
