    Can you imagine someone buys a boatload of these, follows the directions in the video of how to open an "unopened" mint box and replaces the real coin with one of these?

    I thought of that too. I guess the unopened box premium will go away now. I suppose they all should be certified at this point. If you're holding on to an original unopened box, now would be a good time to submit with the approaching cut-off for PCGS First Strike designation guys!

    So if it’s never opened PCGS/NGC will open the UNOPENED BOX . They then work off the original receipt shipping date. As long as your SHIP DATE is BEFORE the cut off date you will get First Strike Preference. B) I was told this by one of the good PCGS Customer Service Rep’s.

    The U.S. lacks jurisdiction over foreign nationals living abroad. Even if a U.S. citizen was somehow implicated in some sort of criminal conspiracy to smuggle contraband in the U.S. (not applicable here), then the dollar amount involved is still too small for the government to care unfortunately.
