Question about a request

why would someone ask me to sent the new greysheet?
I don't know this person and I don't think I have ever done ANY business with them!
Besides that it is NOT allowed by CDN.
Asking someone to do something is wrong, is really WRONG!
your opinion?

I have no idea why someone would ask that. However, since you're already going to send one out, would it be too much to ask for you to send one to me, too? Thanks!
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
Possibly because the person wants the grey sheet but doesn’t want to pay the fee

IF you feel like it, ask the person who made the request (and tell him or her how you feel about it).

Just send him a short email "Do I look like Google"
did that

My friend gave me a back issue of the GS.
I offered to give him 5 bucks for it but he declined.
Difference is: I know him well and I wasn't demanding.
I see nothing wrong with that, as I would do the same for him.
ANYONE can buy a subscription......It's not for dealers only.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

So I am keeping it private!
Can I have a copy also?
Sounds like a victimless crime to me.
Well, watch out. I once got chewed out by the greysheet people when I asked if anyone wanted 15yo greysheets, which later I found out they had online free.
Bizarre behavior from those guys...
Asking is wrong. Give them the website address with suggestions that they subscribe.
I sometimes give back issues of CDN to friend used to share tables with at shows. Otherwise keep for reference. Frankly would advise store back issues if possible, historical data very useful articles.
I have no idea who is asking you for a CDN. It’s your call what you do - if stranger / unusually curious buyer would advise them to subscribe. I consider my CDN my personal proprietary data and keep it out of sight at shows unless needed to refer to make deal.
I have been setup at shows where the show promoter handed out greysheets to the public (made me furious one time as had not received my issue in mail yet - this was about 20 years ago). It blew a deal on a $350 coin where bid went down from 325 to 275. I wanted to give that bourse chairman an earful but just took it on the chin. Stuff happens lol.
The CDN is wholesale, CPG is their retail price guide. They also have the CAC market report which is their retail price guide for CAC. I urge you to analyze these.....
I used to subscribe to the Grey Sheet.....When I retired and moved, I threw out all the old copies and have not resubscribed....Cheers, RickO
