Sorry Miles, but I got to ask, Is there any reason to get the First Strike designation on the ERP?

I did a search and found nothing on this.
Another question.
Does it make sense to go with the PCGS Gold Shield submission?
Your thoughts greatly appreciated.

JMO... From what I have seen, any additional qualification added to the label, brings extra $$ when selling....Which means a CAC bean would also help as we have seen. And yes, the Gold Shield would be good as well. Cheers, RickO
FS has a separate line entry with a premium value that is sometimes a bit more than non-FS. FS seekers will pay the premium if they want it.
Gold Shield includes TrueView. So $5 gets a several different hi-res pics of the coin.
All coins sold the same day and all will be delivered around the same time... if any of you are paying a premium for the designation, maybe you know why and can explain it???

I added the $5.00 Gold Shield on my latest submission plus added the $10.00 True view when they tally the total they will make the adjustment. I wanted my 2019-S RP Loaded with all the bells and whistles, when they get to processing. Glad I seen the Gold Shield box and checked it. Been a while since I submitted a coin want to say the Apollo puck was the last time. All mine always get the First Strike designation when possible. Some are obvious when their old coins. Never really cared for the NGC Early / First Release your choice, but I was told that First Strike will get the best strikes as the dies MAY be fresher. Not sure how true that is.
They should have a "First shipped" and a "First received" designation also.
You can't CAC moderns
Because people who buy them like certain designations, even though the designations are meaningless.
For example "First Strike" means nothing. For modern issues like this, often the entire run is First Strike eligible. And since the Mint ships in no particular order, you don't know if the coin was 1st Strike or Last struck. BUT BUT BUT, some people like the uniformity in their collection and will pay a little extra to have the correct slab.
TV is included with GS. The extra $10 was not needed. Might need to call to get it fixed but they are usually good at catching/fixing issues.
Decisions on what to do with the 2019-S Reverse Proofs should be on the basis of cost versus return. This issue is about making money. Greed rules but you will have to move quickly if you want to make the most of the situation. The flippers are already flipping and will soon move on to the next "big thing".
I do agree except mine will be about putting it in my collection. When I am Dead then my Daughter can figure out what it’s worth.
Now if by chance I get lucky and get an autographed one by Ryder then YES I will sell it!
I would then go out and buy one on the 2nd market more than likely a 69 grade PCGS one. Cause Zi am cheap.
GoldBully, good question.
I say when you have yourself a $66 miracle whatever cost you add to it to shine it up and make it prettier, what the hell. The initial MINT financial investment is so tiny.
Please post your True View pictures when you get them!
As far as Labels go the 2019-S Proof Eagle 1st Day FUN Label is way rarer than the 2019-S Reverse Proof! Should I ask big bucks for mine?
Absolutely. Big bucks are the essence of numismatics.
Ya know, I might be wrong. There are around 150 FUN labels and a possibility of between 5-600 Baltimore labels at the most. I wonder how many were slabbed the 1st day in Baltimore.
Will do, Miles......70 is highly doubtful, yet hopeful. .....it's a game, and quite a fun one.
Not sure how many. The slow line held things up and people weren't getting out of the room fast enough to flip. Dealers were paying as much as $1200 to get them in by the 5 p.m. deadline.
Wow!!
Amen to the FUN part, GB.
The other cool part is the luck of the quick and efficient draw-getting one basically free from the Mint then being able to choose the options (sealed, open, graded, early or late sell, hold) depending on your preferences and patience and then as a bonus.....
Oh, there might be a golden ticket, too?!!
Like Jmlanfaz says, “once every ten to fifteen years” lightening strikes for us.
I know, I missed that deadline by minutes. Showed up at my arranged buyers table @ 4:58 and was told it was too late.
