Anyone familiar with this (I'm trying to figure-out the signature at the bottom)?

    Is that 'obverse' a plate on top of the coin? Looks like it, and held in by the surrounding brass enclosure. Cheers, RickO

    The year is maybe 1938 based on the dot count?

    Or maybe the "signature" is a key clue to help unlock the mystery date.

    I wouldn't be surprised if it was part of a company sponsored sales contest for its salesmen. The key with the ribbon, and possibly the slogan, is the clue to identifying the issuer.

    A very interesting encasement. I've never seen one before.
