"THIS IS THE YEAR" Encased Peace Dollar

Anyone familiar with this (I'm trying to figure-out the signature at the bottom)?

Is that 'obverse' a plate on top of the coin? Looks like it, and held in by the surrounding brass enclosure. Cheers, RickO
The year is maybe 1938 based on the dot count?
Neat!
Different that’s for sure.
Bowkey. Or perhaps I Bowkey. As in, "I am Mr. Bowkey."
Or maybe the "signature" is a key clue to help unlock the mystery date.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was part of a company sponsored sales contest for its salesmen. The key with the ribbon, and possibly the slogan, is the clue to identifying the issuer.
A very interesting encasement. I've never seen one before.
Interesting encasement.
Very strange!
Here's my encasement! Have not figured out how to crack it out yet!
I'd say a 20mm cannon with armor piercing shells.......
That might work! It'll take something big like that.
