Sorry guys ...it was me.... I had to report each and everyone of you.....I don't know if you all heard but I just got a promotion to "veteran" and thought I'd throw some weight around..... just try to stay on my good side. X-mas cards just forward to my P.O. box

I made a standard pattern. Many passwords but none like another. Just a similar pattern of numbers, caps, lower case, symbols. That helps.

That sounds really confusing - But maybe not. I guess all of mine have a pattern as well, where I typically drop a number in the middle of the compound word. And then add symbols if necessary.

The more Caps, symbols, numbers, and the longer it is...the harder it is to remember... R#09ptc*-297(~}. =Strong password, impossible to remember.

Typically you force a reset when the password database has been stolen. If it's properly salted and using a decent hash there's no actual danger, but you do it anyway.
