Who is imbibing and enjoying their collection tonight?

We work hard all week, so that we can participate in this hobby that we love.
I am relaxing with a hard scotch and a Labatt blue chaser, while looking at some of my beautiful walkers and Morgans That are home on holiday.
How about you? Who is with me? What are you drinking and what are you looking at?
PS don’t tell me your girlfriend or wife. I have one of those and will spend the whole day together tomorrow but tonight it’s about the coins!

I’m still able to properly attribute bust quarters even after several strong drinks, so I’m not sure what to make of it. Alcohol does make reading some coin books more entertaining.
I am soaking a problematic salivary gland with Kirkland Anejo Tequila (highly recommended at $20 @ 750 ml.) while looking for some inexpensive toned Lincoln PR coins to fill a few holes in my registry set. I need toned examples from the 1980s and 1990s which are hard to find NT.

OMG...I’ve had that beer and it’s fantastic! Good choice and drinking out of an 18th-century style silver tankard? That is way cool!!

Over imbibing is not. That's one reason why I no longer imbibe.
Sazerakish Waters: Bulleit Rye on the rocks, dash of Peychaud’s and Angostura, splash of soda. Plush couch, golden retriever and season 4 of The Man in the High Castle.
Whiskey. Got started early. Just went into the kitchen to get more ice. On the way back I stumbled past the lovely Mrs. Hydrant and her identical twin sister in the hallway. Up until now I didn't even know she had a twin. Thought she'd of told me by now. But there they were. Same clothes, same hair, same miffed-off look on their faces. Same everything. Peas in a pod. Kinda weird. Not sure exactly what brand I'm drinking but gosh, maybe tonight will turn out to be a real barn burner! To hell with coins. Then again.......?
America. How can you not love it?

I’m eating fried chicken handling my proofs.
Goose island Christmas IPA. Oddly not looking at coins. I've turned to watches as a side collection and have been enjoying it immensely. Hate that I can only wear one at a time.

The King’s Ginger.
Originally produced for King Edward VII to warm him up after a drive in his newfangled automobile.
Pairs well with antique English coins.

During the week I never touch the stuff, come Friday evening all bets are off. I'll have a few original Miller High Lifes.
