How do they know you have already been through the line?

They took your name and had a list I dont think anyone was able to cheat and get 2, they may all be 'reserved' now as the mint guy with the tickets has left the room

    I like the pics
I think many people in that line, if asked, wouldn’t have ANY idea of what they are buying
In fact, many might not even know what day it is or why they are there

Couldn't you give a fake name if you were paying with cash, or do they not accept cash.

3 step process, 6am-10 1st they took your name with photo ID, then back at 1130 to line up, then had to show 1st ticket for orange and 1 more check before you get to buy.....I'm in next group to go, it's been little over 3 hours now to process first 300 people. Will post a pic when I finally get it.

No luck on phone lines...finally got through...took all my information, and then said "No longer available".....I said why did you not tell me that to begin with? She said, "Well, I took the information in case they become available again." I simply thanked her and said goodbye. Cheers, RickO

I don't know where you're getting that from, most were hired from a casting agency, 1 young lady has done some national commercials. Couple of the younger folks brought coins with them to see if they were valuable, the two that asked me one had Susie Bs and Sacs, the other had a 21 Morgan and a couple Walkers his mom had given him. He knew the coin he was buying was a bigger version of the Walker

Being cast in a commercial and being a numistmatist are at opposite ends of the spectrum
FWIW—I bet over half that line was only there for the “flip” and was hired a day before; they really don’t know and don’t care what they are buying, just what they are getting paid for standing in line

I wonder if they'll have any tomorrow.

Thanks very much for the info

They apparently brought 500 to Baltimore. You would think that would mean 500 tickets are being handed out, but this is a government agency we're talking about.
I would be shocked if these are still available at this late hour in Baltimore or even in the afternoon. I saw pictures of the line when it opened.
