2006 D Doubled die can you ear me now ?

Okay here we go again found this one along with others. So this is not a one time occurrence the end of the lobe sure looks doubled to me anyone out there see what I am seeing

How could a single feature at the center of the design be doubled without doubling of anything else?
Looks like $0.01 to me.
Take a look at the 2006 they are listed here on PCGS I have four of those. Can you tell me what's different single feature in the design? sometimes it's only in one area of the coin? just different doubling is all? I have several of the 2006 D not just one. thanks for your input

Need an otoscopic view

Does it match up with anything listed on CONECAs Variety Vista or Wexler's Doubleddie site?? They usually have all of the known DDs listed
On many Class IV and Class IV+VIII doubled dies only the center of a mis-hubbed die will show evidence of a first or subsequent hubbing that's "out of register." Hubbings hub up first in the center of the die. There are many doubled dies such as these on older coins but they are thought to be the only form of doubling on dies starting with the "single squeeze" method of hubbing. The 1997 "doubled ear" cent would be an example of this type of doubling.
You definitely have something worth looking into.

That is worth having the experts check....I looked closely to determine die chip or hit... could not see either one....Have it checked out and let us know. Cheers, RickO
