    I like the gold.... but auctions - for me - are out of favor right now..... :/ Just a personal thing.... Cheers, RickO

    I wouldn’t call this bullion since it was used as everyday money in transactions.

    Should we not post pictures of any classic gold or 90% silver coins here anymore?

    Many of these pieces were issued alongside circulating coinage.

    Here's how Heritage described the 2nd bar (the long flat one next to the bathtub shaped Sycee up top):

    Minh Mang 10 Lang Bar CD 1849 XF, Hanoi mint, KM-Unl. (cf. KM206), Schr-Unl., Thierry-Unl. 118x28mm. 384gm. A seemingly unpublished bullion bar from the court treasury, including both the cyclical date (Year 29), as well as the name of Hanoi.
