I love some of those 'combinations' !

A struck dime gets stuck in a bin and then cent planchets are poured into that bin releasing the struck dime.
The batch goes into the cent presses and gets stuck as cents.
Yes came in yesterday
Now that is cool... Where was it found? Bag or circulation or roll? Cheers, RickO
Close enough for government work.
That is a crazy cool error!

The smaller diameter is the host coin. The larger diameter die strikes the host coin. The larger diameter or last strike is the denomination.
Other cases that are opposite were done at midnight.
Found in another dealer's inventory.
Thanks @ErrorsOnCoins ....I forgot that possibility....Cheers, RickO
Best not to ask.
Why not, this is a very easy to explain error coin as I did above.
Not everything is a conspiracy.
that's a cool addition to the collection for sure
I got two new coins in the office yesterday but four heads .....
Both in the uber cool little white slabs and in high grade

Cool error, EOC. Really like these coins having 2 heads on the same side.
