Niles (IL) Coin Show...Sun Nov 3...added show report
I believe this one used to be in Palatine Illinois and appears to have moved to Niles.
Does anyone know any information or is planning on attending?

No, but show reports are always appreciated.
Champaign-Urbana Coin Club (Illinois) also has its annual show tomorrow, 3 Nov 2019.
It has been a good small show in the past, but the location has moved two or three blocks from the Urbana Civic Center to Lincoln Square Mall (South Entrance).
I am unable to attend, several conflicts.
If I have a chance to go, I’ll do a show report.
I went once when it was in the other location (Palatine). That one was fairly small with two rows of dealers (seemed less than the 40 tables advertised for this upcoming show) and not a ton of what I was looking for. I recall selling one coin and not buying anything.
Please provide show reports....They are much appreciated by many members....Cheers, RickO
I went to the show and it was about what I expected.
It was fairly small (somewhere between 10-15 dealers total). I only saw a handful of people walking around browsing and it didn’t look like a lot of action overall. There was a raffle, so the chances of winning seemed pretty good (the security guard won it).
Interestingly enough there was more raw material than slabbed. For the most part, it was the typical items one would expect (Morgans, Franklins, Walkers, Mercury Dimes, etc). The slabbed items were fairly typical as well. Some of the tables had silver bullion and junk silver (I believe one dealer was offering junk around melt). Only a few had a bit of gold bullion. I noticed one slabbed Buffalo Oz for $70 over spot. Quite a few dealers had bins with items for half off (or a smaller percentage discount). That is where my only purchase came from: a 1920-D Mercury Dime for $4. It’ll go into my Dansco.
Overall it wasn’t super special, but it was still fun to spend some time at a coin show.
Here is the Mercury Dime. Not special, but will fill a hole. Maybe it can use a dip, as one of our forum members likes to say
