I am not really familiar with ebay regulations anymore..... he states they are fake, so no attempt at subterfuge....might violate the HPA....Cheers, RickO
This auction violates the HPA. There is NO provision in the act allowing someone to say the coin is a counterfeit and thereby avoid placing the word "copy" on the coin. This auction should be pulled because it is self-admittedly selling an illegal item.
All copies, replicas, and "fantasy" items should have an HPA compliant COPY stamp on them.
it's surprising any scrupulous numismatist would deal in those which do not, through legal loopholes or otherwise. Lack of moral and ethical integrity, sadly, causes some to sell out the hobby for monetary gain.

“Without the copy stamp is this listing legal?”
Not legal, in my opinion.
It sure is UGLY !
Ebay does not allow reproductions, copies, counterfeits or replica coins.

He failed to mention they are fresh off the plane from the Shenzen mint - in China.
