Once again, a "Wild Card" team wins it! The San Francisco Giants(2014) and the Cardinals(2011) did it last. One more stat on the Nats. Playoffs. They had to pass 6 tests(6 series) to advance and then win it all!

I started collecting coins as a kid after my Dad told me that baseball cards would eventually be worthless.
So, he said he'd work with me on my coin collection. Well, the first thing I collected was silver rounds with Hall of Fame baseball players on them. I still have the collection and think I'm up to 40 or so baseball silver rounds from the 1980s.

My hero: Babe Ruth.
Was always disappointed I never found a Dale Murphy (Braves fan here that wanted him to be in the HOF!)
